I’m not a very big fan of Valentine’s Day.
I think its because I’m not a huge fan of candy, flowers, or forced romantic gestures but, I will say, it was pretty fun whipping up a Valentine’s Day outfit to share with y’all! This year, I was looking for a more chic, sexy dress for the big day.
First off, the material is AMAZING. It was well forming and made me look super shapely. Granted, I felt a little self-conscious in such a tight dress but overall, I felt like a bombshell. The slit along the side made the dress so comfortable and fun to eat and dance in. If you have big plans for Valentine’s or formal, this is definitely one I recommend.
This dress is absolutely gorgeous and while I think it’s totally one to have in your closet, if you can’t shell out $400 bucks, you can still look gorgeous in it (and for less than $100!). Ever heard of Rent The Runway? It’s a genius company that allows you to rent out high-end expensive gowns for a few days – and at a fraction of the cost! This Likely Dress in Plum was only $70 to rent for the weekend, and they even send a back up size to assure that you have the perfect dress! Trust me ladies, if you’re looking for a dress for Prom, Homecoming, or a wedding, its definitely worth checking out!
Since, I’m a total homebody, there’s a chance I’ll be spending Valentine’s at home watching The Office or Bob’s Burgers, but definitely comment below or tag me on Instagram if you recreate the look!
