Before I started my blog, I remember looking at all of my favorite influencers and YouTubers and dreaming of being able to create their glamorous looks. While I’m sure most of them never intended to make their readers feel inadequate for not being able to spend thousands on the latest Chanel Boy bag – I did.
So when I started blogging, I promised I would always strive to create both high-end AND affordable looks. It didn’t matter if you were a socialite in your early 30’s or freshman in high school on a tight budget, I wanted to inspire women of all backgrounds to feel comfortable, chic, and fabulous.
So I’m so excited to share that this outfit does exactly that!
Shopping Shein:
To be honest, I was so skeptical to order from Shein. I had seen so many ads about Shein promising great fashion pieces at extremely affordable prices but I was worried that it really was too good to be true. But I decided I should brave up and order a couple of pieces so I could judge them myself.
I was surprised when my order got delivered. For the most part, totally not a scam! I got all the pieces I ordered and was overall pretty pleased with my purchases. This bodysuit is less than $14 and is absolutely gorgeous! The bow detail is so feminine and the perfect accent any outfit! I got TONS of compliments during the few hours I was wearing this top and it was super comfortable.
But I will warn you, don’t expect the pieces to be made with super high quality fabric. I ordered a white dress that will definitely need a nude slip underneath. But with most of their clothes priced below $15, they can definitely give Forever 21 a run for their money! I will probably be ordering again soon for those statement pieces I don’t want to splurge on.
Also, this is the second season I’ve worn this baker’s boy hat and I have to admit it’s my absolute favorite. I originally bought this hat for my trip to Switzerland and I still catch myself reaching for it. The rope detail and high crown makes this piece look so expensive and can add tons of dimension to any winter look! Plus, I have a wider than usual head and this one fits all the way around comfortably, I definitely recommend it! LOL
