Top: Chicwish || Jeans: Joe’s Jeans || Earrings: Baublebar || Sunnies: Ralph Lauren
Whenever I go shopping, I always find pieces and think, “this would be perfect for my blog!” Especially pieces that accent certain backgrounds, like a garden, coffee shop, or in this case – Paris! When I stumbled upon this beautiful ruffled, one-shouldered top, I knew that I had to photograph it in France. Between the bright, light colors and ruffle detail, I knew I immediately envisioned it in front of the Eiffel Tower in the Champ de Mars.
When people tell you there’s nothing more beautiful than Springtime in Paris, they aren’t exaggerating. Something about the crisp, cool air circulating around the romantic gardens and opulent architecture makes it so hard to want to be anywhere else in the world. Aaron and I’s short trip very quickly became one of my favorite memories of all time.
If you know anything about my philosophy about traveling, you know that I don’t really care to revisit countries. The world is filled with so many beautiful places, people, and cultures that I would rather try somewhere new every time I get the opportunity to travel, however..
Paris is my exception.
I’m sure it has tp do with the fact that Aaron and I only went for a long weekend and I definitely didn’t get to visit all the sites I wanted to (Versailles *sigh*), but I finally found a place that combines my love for all things delicious, romantic, and beautiful.
About my outfit, there was a looooooot of walking around and so my Marc Fisher Adalyn wedges were perfect. My Chicwish top (linked HERE) was absolutely gorgeous for Spring AND the best part – it’s on sale! I definitely recommend grabbing one while you can!
Aaron and I spent the morning snacking on chocolate croissants and coffee with Chantilly cream and it was absolutely perfect. I got so many compliments from locals while we walked the through the parks and streets that I knew I had to share! My top was so gorgeous that it was so easy to pair with my favorite denim jeans and and sunnies! If you’re looking for the perfect place to to fall in love with people, history, or life itself, give Paris a try!
P.s. I love how the shots turned out for this post, but honestly, every street was beautiful enough to be a blog!
