Everything from the scalloped hemlines to the bold black and white square pattern on this dress makes it an absolute must-have! This adorable dress is from J Lacel and is such a steal.
Since I’m still in school, I love this dress for brunch or dinner dates, but throwing on a simple black or red cardigan makes it work appropriate and truly a standout piece! Who says work should be filled with stiff blazers and boring button ups?! I love large patterns like this because it really spruces up the typical ones you’re used to seeing. Picking bigger prints makes a fun statement all while staying classy and chic. My dress also transitions from work to happy hour seamlessly by simply removing my cardigan!
To complete the look, I paired a classic red lip to brighten up the look and give it some color. For a lip color that will last all day, I really recommend Anastasia’s Liquid Lipstick [I tagged the one i’m wearing below]. It dries matte and has very minimal transfer! For accessories, I stacked a couple cable bracelets, my go-to watch, and simple halo setting pearl earrings. Side note, how cute is my Alice + Olivia porcelain tumbler?!
