Despite my every effort to rush into Fall, the weather is just not cooperating. This weekend, Aaron and I had date night at my favorite place in San Antonio. We grabbed coffee at Local, dinner at Southerleigh, and ice cream at Lick. Even though I felt like we definitely over-ordered, my heart was as full as my stomach and loved every minute of it.

I wanted to a wear my new burgundy knit sweater with tights and  knee high boots, BUT even at sun down, it was about 87 degrees. So instead, I decided to take advantage of the warmer temperature and bust out one of my favorite “cold-shoulder” tops!

I love off the shoulder tops for date nights because they make me feel flirty. Paired with my go-to pair of stretchy Madewell Dark stain jeans, this outfit was easy and fast! I grabbed this multi-metal choker from Nordstrom and can’t say that I hate that chokers are in. They make any outfit a little more edgy and accentuates my neck to look a little slimmer. To finish off, I grabbed my new favorite leather Steve Madden heels and threw my hair up into a HUGE messy bun. Together, this outfit was perfect for walking around, grabbing coffee before dinner, and chatting about the highlights of our week.

I’ve had my top for a few years so I tagged a couple of other options that range from steal to splurge!

I hope you enjoyed this look! It was an absolute blast shooting this look.
