There’s a good chance that the only reason people knew it was the first day of Fall was because I announced it at every possible opportunity. I love Fall. I mean, what girl doesn’t? Between the first few waves of brisk winds and the richly red leaves, I adore everything about the seasonal transition.
Sadly for me, it’s still in the 90’s here in San Antonio and I can’t quite bring out the scarves and riding boots. I CAN, however, slowly start incorporating fall pieces into my outfits. So I decided to dust off my favorite pair of suade Steve Madden booties to match this black cotton long-sleeve dress. The slightly longer hemline in the back of this dress made it perfect for wandering around Brackenridge Park.
I’ll admit I was pretty shocked when I fell in love with this American Eagle floppy, wool hat. With the cutest leather braid with feather accents at the end of each tassel, it’s the perfect accessory to match all my fall looks this season! It’s affordable and *ON SALE* right now so don’t hesitate to check it out if you’re in the market for the perfect hat!
ALSO! IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR AMAZING COFFEE IN SAN ANTONIO:
On my way to take these pictures, I wandered into The Fairview Coffee Bar and Grub and ordered the “El Chingon” (the drink featured in my pictures)! It’s their homemade drink which consists of horchata and shots of espresso. It was so creamy and delicious and, not to mention, they make an extensive array of scrumptious doughnuts that I’m dead set on trying. You can definitely consider me the newest Fairview regular.
