I have a weird relationship with Turtleneck Sweaters. I think they look GREAT on a tall, slender people but I’ve always found that they seem to make me look shorter and make my face rounder. But when I found this tan Madewell sleeveless turtleneck, I knew I wanted to make one last attempt to try out this winter staple.
Since its still in the 70’s, in San Antonio, this sleeveless sweater was oddly comfortable for Aaron and I’s brunch date to Bakery Lorraine. I will say, if you’re looking for the perfect turtleneck, make sure you pick one thats not too tight around the neck or itchy! I found the loose overall fit was perfect for my winter style – comfortable. I’m also planning to layer a long sleeve black top underneath it when the weather drops a bit more!
I snagged this top a few months ago at Madewell BUT I listed other options below!
I’m not a big “jean” girl, but I absolutely love these Hudson Jeans as an alternative to leggings. Even though I’m the girl that wears black leggings until the last possible day of winter, these are so comfortable and offer a more “put-together” element to any sweater outfit. The material is thin and stretchy so it was easy to stuff inside my BCBG OTK Black Suede boots!
Since my FAVORITE MONTHS of the year are finally here, I can’t wait to share all my favorite fashion looks as well as decor and study tips to get you through finals week! Thanks for stopping by!
