The weather has been so finicky lately that I’ve literally been wearing denim cut-offs on the Friday and knit sweaters by Sunday. Luckily this last weekend was filled with a peak of sunshine making it the perfect time to go out and enjoy my parents being in town!
These last few months, I’ve been so busy with clinic and trying to finish off the semester that I haven’t had much time to blog! While I love getting to experience patient care and experiencing a taste of what my life is going to be like in a couple of years (eek!), I’d love for everything to just slow down a bit.
I’m pretty sure I’m late to the flared-sleeve sweater party, but I had to share the details on the top I’ve had on repeat all winter. It’s loose cut and neckline is so flattering that I regret not getting it in every color before it sold out. But the real reason I threw this outfit together was for these super stretchy denim jeans! The adorable cactus details on the back pocket is what caught my attention initially, but after reading the reviews, I decided I had to try it out for myself! I LOVE the fit and staining on these jeans and have felt comfortable wearing them all day!
To accessorize, I paired my outfit with what I call my “statement sunnies”! The bold marble print and shape of the frames is so slimming on my face. I was so nervous about getting them but the more I wear them out, the more I love them – plus they’re on sale now for $19 so definitely snag them if you’re interested!
As my first blog post of the year…
